Half a all natural grass fed steer home raised on our ranch and processed Christeans Meats in Valier.
Q: How much beef do I get?
This will fluctuate depending on the size of your steer, and whether you get a WHOLE or a HALF beef. In previous years, a WHOLE beef has averaged about 650lbs. of hanging weight. You receive around 60% to 70% of the hanging weight as cut and wrapped meat which means you would get 60% to 70% of the 650 lbs hanging weight to your freezer. That is about 390 to 455 lbs of meat from a WHOLE beef.
Q: How much does it cost?
WHOLE: $3.99/lb. = approx. $2,593.50
HALF: $4.09/lb. = approx. $1,329.25
